Hello, I want to ask you if you know any kind of foundation that can help international student with medical expenses. By the way he is still in coma and this might continue for next 6 to 8 month. Student is my brother, very intelligent. Has been legal in USA for past 4 years. His insurance runs out of money and I don’t know what to do. Please help me. I’m sorry. America’s health care system is a mess. We can hardly help ourselves.
If he is legaly in the USA and is in a hospital in the USA. See about getting him on medicare or medicade. The hospital should have the information and forms to fill out. Or they should know who dose.
You can also see into financial aid. The hospital will have the information on that, too.
